Ron Paul Caught In Large Fib
He Would Not Have Ordered Bin Laden Killed “The Way He Was”
By Dell Hill
The proof, they tell me, is in the pudding.
At the South Carolina GOP Presidential Debate last night Ron Paul denied that he said he wouldn’t have ordered a raid on Osama Bin Laden’s compound.
But he did… And there’s video to prove it.
Last year Simon Conway of WHO Radio in Iowa repeatedly asked Ron Paul whether he would have given the order to kill Osama bin Laden. Ron Paul said he wouldn’t – three times in two minutes.
The BLaze reported:

Dell’s Bottom Line:
For the record, and according to documents issued by the officials in charge of the operation, Osama Bin Laden reached for an AK-47, which was close at hand and that’s when the SEAL Team 6 members shot him dead. Otherwise, I suspect they were prepared to take him into custody, just as the Soldiers captured Saddam Hussein in Iraq.
Either Mr. Paul is not familiar with that public report or has forgotten the details. Every single such operation includes the proviso that resistance will be met with appropriate action. Had he not reached for a weapon, Bin Laden probably would still be alive today. Saddam had a weapon (.45 caliber handgun) available to him but he did not attempt to use it. He was not killed.
End of story.
